Control and transparency
We explain which technologies this site uses, what they do, and how you decide whether they are activated.
Privacy settings
The consent layer blocks measurement and marketing until you allow those categories. You can change your choice at any time.

Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Microsoft Clarity only activate if you allow measurement.
The Meta Pixel only activates if you allow marketing and advertising.
01 · Definition
Cookies are small files or identifiers that a website may store or read in your browser. They can help remember settings, maintain technical functions, measure site use, or show more relevant advertising. Similar technologies include local storage, tags, pixels, and device identifiers.
Not all of them have the same purpose. Some are strictly necessary for a site to work. Others relate to measurement, personalization, or advertising and remain disabled until you make a choice.
02 · Categories
Essential. They store the preference you make in the cookie panel through the ajs_cookie_consent cookie. They are not used to build commercial profiles and cannot be turned off in the panel because they remember your choice.
Measurement and experience. This includes Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, managed through Google Tag Manager, to understand site performance, pages, and browsing experience. This category remains blocked until you authorize it.
Marketing. This includes the Meta Pixel, managed through Google Tag Manager, to measure campaign performance and, where applicable, create or measure advertising audiences. It remains blocked until you authorize it.
03 · Configured tools
Google Tag Manager is configured as the single container for measurement and marketing tags. The consent panel controls the loading of the container and the tags managed within it.
Specific names, durations, and providers of optional cookies may vary based on each platform’s active configuration. This table will be updated if new tools or purposes are added.
04 · Consent
On your first visit, you will see a panel with three options: accept all categories, reject optional categories, or configure each category. Before that choice, measurement and marketing technologies stay disabled.
The ajs_cookie_consent cookie keeps your preference for up to 180 days. If you change your choice, we update that preference and apply the new consent state. You can reopen the panel from the “Manage cookies” link in the footer.
05 · Third-party services
The site links to services such as Google Calendar, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn to make contact easier. When you select them, you enter environments managed by third parties that may apply their own privacy notices and cookies.
The tools described in this policy are provided by Google, Microsoft, and Meta. You can consult their privacy and technology information: Google, Microsoft Clarity, and Meta.
06 · Management
You can change optional categories through the preferences link in the footer. You can also block, delete, or limit cookies in your browser settings. If you delete the consent cookie, we will ask for your choice again on a future visit.
07 · Changes and contact
This policy will be reviewed when the tag configuration in Google Tag Manager changes, new cookie categories are added, or processing purposes change. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
If you have a question about cookies or privacy, email info@ajsantacruz.com with “Cookies” in the subject line. For general personal-data handling, see the Privacy Policy.
This text describes the site’s configuration and should be reviewed periodically with legal advice appropriate to the jurisdictions where the activity is directed.
08 · Form protection
When you view or submit a diagnostic form, the site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish legitimate requests from automated traffic. This technology processes technical security signals and the verification token needed to protect the submission; it is not used for advertising or to build commercial profiles.
Turnstile and the form’s technical session cookie activate only so the request can be sent securely. They cannot be disabled from the preferences panel because they are necessary to prevent abuse and validate the requested operation. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for more information.
